Raj has been the Senior Pastor of St Paul’s Anglican Church (Carlingford and North Rocks) since March 2021. Formerly, he was the Lead Pastor of Toongabbie Anglican Church from 2007.
He was the chair of kcc nextgen for almost a decade, one of Australia’s largest conferences training people for ministry. More recently he has completed a Doctor of Ministry (Leadership Concentration) at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. His thesis was “Why do Sydney Anglican Churches struggle to grow beyond 200?”.
He currently serves in a number of Sydney Anglican committees, including the Standing Committee, and the Anglican Church Growth Corporation. He was the Mission Area Leader for Parramatta from 2010-2018, and a member of the Diocesan Strategy Research Group for almost a decade.
As a consultant to the Centre of Ministry Development, he has been instrumental in the development and delivery of the Developing Rectors Program, a unique program for the training of new Lead Pastors / Senior Ministers, as well as other courses such as the Leading Staff workshops. In addition, he has begun mentoring and coaching other pastors, and running training for groups of pastors.
